LEED Project/Solar Thermal Piping
Capitol Engineering Company recently completed several projects as part of a LEED team to assist a large New England based insurance company in attaining LEED Silver certification for their campus. At the time of their certification, they were the oldest building in their state to attain this level of certification. Not only did Capitol Engineering perform several of the projects required to meet these requirements, but as a team member, was also responsible for the preparation of paperwork and data collection for Prerequisites and Credits in several different categories.
50 Ton Glycol Loop for Computer Room Air Conditioning
Capitol Engineering Company recently completed the design and installation of a 50 ton glycol loop to serve a South Shore Company's new Computer Room. This system utilizes glycol for "free cooling" and has a customized pump control panel to provide complete electrical redundancy between the primary and backup air conditioners, pumps and heat exchangers.
